can't forward web page using windows live mail after Microsoft had done work.error message says default mail client not properly installed.control panel says it is

First thing I'd try: reinstall WLM
Second thing I'd try: use another browser than IE10
Thidr thing I'd try: use another e-mail program than WLM. Thunderbird is a good alternative.

had uninstalled ie 10&restored ie 8.when I opened laptop it went back to ie10.was told automatic updates will do that.
