International Roaming or Set Up

Apr 27, 2005 1:51AM PDT

I was unable to use my cell phone while I was in Costa Rica, although my carrier advised me that it should work. Would it work if I bought a different SIMM card to use while I'm down there? Any other suggestions?

international roaming or set up response

I am leaving for costa rica in a little less then two weeks. your phone might not of worked there because it might be a GSM phone. All the GSM lines are supposedly in use and there won't be any available for something like three years. maybe that was the problem.
