General discussion

internal hd with enclosure or old pc for storage

May 13, 2006 1:41AM PDT

Hi I am currently using an old dell p3 as mapped network drive. I have a brand new 160gb hd laying around and was wondering if I should be using it instead. I store all my photos, music, and files etc on it now. But I know it using electricity and putting out heat and also some noise. I guess I need to know how to hook up enclosure to my home network of computers if this is the best way. Choice of enclosure also. Thanks in advance Lenny
