Intermittent Wireless Access

Mar 14, 2007 12:14PM PDT

Hey folks,

I have converted from a mac back to a pc, and have purchased an HP E6400. I had some network issues early on and I fixed them. Now I have this problem....
1. When I start my computer up, I get my internet access fine. Everything seems great.

2. I leave my computer for an hour or two, and Internet access is not found. None of my browsers (IE, Firefox) will connect to any page. Instant Messenger does not work either. Ironically, all of my P2P network connections work fine.

3. The only way to regain internet access is to restart the computer.

Any ideas? I really appreciate it, I'm a little rusty with PC's.

Thanks!!
