Intermittent "Operating System Not Found" Errors.

Mar 12, 2004 12:25AM PST

Every now and then when I turn on my computer, I get an OS not found error. I use my computer everyday and I would say this happens about 1-2 times a month. My first thought was intermittent power supply problems. Anyone else have any ideas?

Thanks!

This could also be due to a defective hard drive. Make sure you have a good backup of your data. When this happens it frequently means the hard drive has not spun up to speed in time, it could be due to power, but also to the drive having hardware problems.
