Keyboard and the mainboard. Which can you replace?

And just asking, why isn't it returned to them?

THE- CIRCUIT CITY - say that because the problem is intermittent , there is no guarantee that the problem will show up.If their tech support finds no problem (Theynwill only check it once). they will just send the laptop back to me. the problem only surfaced after they "fixed' it for something else.

You need it in writing that the failure is occuring on ...

TODAY'S DATE to get your warranty to cover it when it's busted good...

There is nothing I can tell you except there are 2 parts they replace. Motherboard and keyboard. One's fairly cheap, the other is not.

Given that a motherboard plus labor can exceed the price of a new laptop, you must deal with them. Your answer should be... It's broken, unusable and I want you to honor your warranty.

Even if you ship it out and back for this issue, it serves as the date you reported the problem and therefore when it fails, you have your laptop in warranty when it's out of warranty...
