His wifi router could be on same channel as yours, creating problems for both of you. Is this only on wifi, or also when on wired ethernet?
I need help solving my Internet issue. It started a day and a half ago, and my Internet has been spotty since. I have called my ISP and they have verified that the DSL line in is fine on their end, which leads me to believe it may be an issue with my router or the setup. Nothing has changed from before until now, no new settings, hardware, connections, etc.
I am in Canada and use MTS Internet (actiontec modem) . My router is a Cisco E2500. My router is on DHAP setting and my modem is PPPOE.
My router has a strong signal strength and my devices have no problem connecting to my wifi, however my connection only works intermittently.
Possibly related or unrelated: the Internet and Ethernet lights on my modem are flickering, I spoke to the MTS tech and said this is normal, however it has never done so before, it blinks but this is a very fast flicker.
I have restarted both the modem, router, computer multiple times and no change, and even performed a hard reset to my router and reconnected it and downloaded the current firmware, and nothing has helped.
Please help!!!
