Interior Picture Taking

Apr 23, 2005 11:47AM PDT

I am a Realtor and need to take interior pictures of rooms. Some small. So I need a camera that will take as much of the room as possible. Make and model recommendations, please.

Wide Angle Lens
Apr 23, 2005 12:11PM PDT

There are several possibilities.
But they cover a large price range.

For under $200 look at:
Fujifilm E500 or E510.

Between $200 and $500 look at:
Canon S60 or S70

For over $500 look at:
Minolta A2 or A200
Sony F828
Olympus C5060 or C7070
Nikon 8400
Canon Pro-1

For just over $1200 look at:
Canon 350D with a wide angle lens

For around $1500 look at:
Nikon D70 with a wide angle lens

There are other choices in the lower priced area, but they will require adding a wide angle converter lens to the standard camera lens. This usually adds about $150 to the cost of the camera.
