Interface Compatability. 4X-8X AGP, and DDR PC2100 - DDR PC2700

Apr 25, 2004 12:29PM PDT

The mobo I got is limited to 4X AGP and DDR PC2100 memory. Will the faster hardware slow down to my mobo's capacity or will it not work at all? Thanks for advice in advance.

Your ram will throttle down to the motherboards specs or not work at all.

And a 8X AGP Graphics (Video) card will work in your 4X AGP slot and perform at 4X.

I have a 4X AGP video card in one of my desktops that has a 1X AGP slot.
