AT&T owned a cable TV company that they sold to Comcast that provided a legally produced and offered channel to subscribers that desired it. It was not a part of their basic service and could only be had by OPTING FOR IT and paying the additional charges.
Same for GM only their connection was DirectTV which they sold.
Yahoo accepts adds (rather higher priced ones at that) from legitimate businesses.
You may not like the fact that the businesses are legitimate BUT using YOUR line of reasoning YOU (and all other cable subscribers) have an involvement" in the porn industry as the profits generated by the porn channels subsidise your cable rates. The same applies if you stop in at any Hotel/Motel/GuestHouse that offers "free" cable TV and ESPECIALLY if it offers "premium channels".
Is there a special reason you dwell on porn?
