Are you running XP on that?

If you are crashing in MacOSX, call it in to get your system fixed.

What Mac are you using?
What OS are you running?
You mention Adobe products and then move to MS products. Does every program crash when you try to print?
Is it the program that crashes or the OS or is it just the printer application that is crashing?

As this is a work computer, do you have an IT department or someone who has the responsibility to troubleshoot problems?

What have you done to troubleshoot this problem before you posted here?

lot's of questions. as for it help, i am the lone mac in a sea of pc's so i get pushed to the bottom of the list. it is a new quad xeon intel. it's the version that came with the computer. the adobe i use is indesign creative suite2, so the files that quit while printing are indesign photoshop illustrator. the word that quits is office 2004 for mac. yes every program quits except printing online. i have done nothing to trouble shoot. i've had the mac about 3 weeks. i just remember to save before i print...

Could this be incorrrect print drivers?

Nice machine!
When you got it and set it up, did you download any drivers for the printers that you use with this machine?
Both Epson and HP drivers on their respective sites that are marked Intel only.

Just a thought.

When you say, "Printing online" do you mean while you are in Safari/Insert your browser here, or is some web based printing company?

i have exactly the same problem and have so far not found a lot of help apple support page has this http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304317

which worked a few time (not using shortcuts) but then pages and preview quit again. i was printing to a shared printer (bonjour network to a G4 emac sharings its hp deskjet 1220) so havent solved it yet.
looks like its a network printer issue... dont see why that should make a difference to printing direct to a printer?

good luck
