Intel Graphic Display Driver Stops

Jan 6, 2016 10:50AM PST

Have a new computer with 12GDDr memory HP Desktop "Envy". Routinely get a "your graphic dispolay driver stopped Windows 8.1". " It has restarted" The computer is preloaded and am running WIN 10. Have already checked for update drivers manually and directly through Intel update site. Intel 530 graphics. Is this a compatapility problem with WIn 10 or a hardware problem.

Intel Graphic Driver Stops

Finally got help from HP. Will Take a couple of days to see if the problem reappears. FYI they had me go to Regiedit.exe and select HKey_local_machine_\system\current control set\graphic driver. Select edit and for 64 bit add Qword TDRdelay and add a value of 8. Which I assume puts a delay factor in and hopefully it will not stop. They got this from an old Microsoft advice notice from awhile back as it happened with Win7 and 8.1. Thanks for your response. Will see how it goes.
