intel gma950 overuse concern.

by happyface87 / June 22, 2008 1:16 AM PDT

i am running vista on minimum visual settings (windows classic) and when i go to my graphics properties and look in information, it says i am using 518mb of graphics memory. this concerns me because my absolute max video memory is 256mb, 518mb makes me worried that my video card is gonna burn up. should i be worried?

note* i am running an intel GMA950 integrated graphics card.

32mb of memory and 224mb of shared memory- so max memory is 256mb.

Whay does it say im using 518? in idle!

This sounds like a driver or Windows bug. Ever hear that this OS and it's drivers were bug free?
