Intel Extreme Graphics 2 Installation Problem

Jun 4, 2005 8:43AM PDT

I have an Intel 865GVHZ Desktop Board, which has a built in Graphics card. The VGA drivers on my system are not installed, so I downloaded the drivers for the Intel Graphics 2 . I chose the correct version for Windows XP, but when I install it, I am unable to use Office XP. The system gets stuck when I open MS Excel or Word or anything else, and then shuts down. Also, I am unable to use the display in 32 bit mode. Could someone please advise, what could be possibly wrong? Do I have to re-install everything, and if so, is there a specific order in which I need to install, the OS, the BIOS and the Motherboard driver and then the VGA?
