Readily available so I don't see why you can't find such a machine like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834157045
Unless you were looking at the 599 price ranges.
The blue screen of death appears to still be with us.

I am having a really sucky time trying to figure out what sort of laptop to get this January and the biggest issue I have been experiecing is about the Intel Core 2 Duo processor. I am deciding between an Asus laptop or a Toshiba, but my biggest concern is that some of the Asus lsit the processor speed at like 1.3 Ghz - 1.6 Ghz per core and I really wanted something between 2.0 Ghz - 2.2 Ghz per core. I just don't want a slow laptop. I want something that can handly my everyday homework from class and a demanding video game as well without freezing, lagging or smacking me with the Blue Screen of death so Memory and video card aside because I can handle picking those out, is there a signifigant difference I could see with going with a lower processing speed per core because I really dont want to make the wrong buying decision! Any insight would be helpful!
