Re: Intel 915GV

I haven't seen a motherboard for the 6xx processors with the 915GV at Newegg.

The Intel 915GV, 915GL, and 910GL chipsets have the Integrated GMA 900 video graphics, but have no external graphics port.

In the announcement by Intel they said the 6xx processors can be coupled with the 925/915 Express chipset family.

Newegg has already listed "Combo Specials" for the 6xx processors with two Gigabyte Motherboards with the 915P Express chipset, and another Gigabyte Motherborard with the 915G chipset.

The 915P chipset has a slot for the PCI Express x16 video card.

The 915G chipset has the Integrated GMA 900 video graphic, and also a slot for the PCI Express x16 video card.

Intel itself has

around 11 boxed desktop motherboards with different variations of the 915 chipset. They also currently have boxed Intel Pent 4, 660,650,640,and 630 processors for chipset 925XE, 915P, and 915G only (as of now).
