intel 900 graphics accelerator and a m45 toshiba question

is it me or the intel 910/915 video chipset suck not cuz it is shared memory of 128mb but seems like every game i try has a problem and even games that intel says are compatible run sluggish ive even upped my memory to compensate for the up to 128mb video shared usage....im runnign a toshiba m45 with 764 mb ram anyone have know n e good playable games? also the m40 is the canadian sister of the m45 if im not mistaken is it possible to switch mobo so i can use the nvidia chip with my existing hardware?

Any shared video has always had the gamer complain. NEVER consider such for games.

It is counter intuitive that reducing the shared video size has resulted in better gameplay, but you need to test such with your game. Also, you have to drop the game's graphic feature to bare minimums to get it to go...

As far as switching... I have yet to find anyone that has swapped such a motherboard as well as any system with shared memory that allows one to add a dedicated video card. Its a choice you make and get to live with...

and I can play games just fine. Well, make that "game". I can play Rome Total War without any real lag during the battles. I have all the video settings on low though...
