integrated webcam not detected

I own an Asus F555L that I upgraded to Windows 10 at first start. I recently noticed that the integrated webcam is not detected by programs like skype or hangouts. thinking it was a driver problem i tried to update the webcam's driver but if i open windows's device manager, i'm not even able to find 'Imaging Devices'. can someone help me? (sorry for the bad English, I'm Italian...)

Try using the maker's web site

The Microsoft method you noted has rarely worked. Try Asus's site for your model and see if the drivers are there for 10.

I would suggest to install latest webcam driver from the manufacturer website
or contact Asus Support for further assistance on your issue.

Have a blissful day!
