Integrated mic not working (HP LAPTOP)

Hey there, people of CNET.
I have a HP-Omen 15-AX033DX

Recently, my integrated mic has stopped working and I have no clue why.

I've tried troubleshooting with the built in software windows gives you, no solution.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling the drivers, didn't fix it.

Does anyone have any other solution, that may fix it?

Nope, not muted. Active and standard communications device, just not picking up sound.

Short story, HP in warranty (my last HP) 3 months old, in their repair, back and never worked again. All calls and such telling me they did all they can.

-> HP will have you do a factory reset so be sure what you have on that PC is safe on many backups. Be prepared for the worst.

I'm not there to check settings and there is little standard there. I suggest you get some USB Mic and not deal with HP repair.

I factory resat my laptop a month ago, don't wanna do that again.

Yes, I suppose I could try using a usb mic.
