Resolved Question

Insurance - should I or pass ?

Oct 24, 2013 4:07AM PDT

I have never purchased the insurance on my phones - but now I have a moto x. Given no removable battery, I am really thinking about getting the insurance.

Thoughts?

Insurance is like a game of poker, you never what hand you will be dealt. If you are concerned you could not afford to replace the phone without insurance, it may be worth it. On the other hand, many folks have insurance for years, pay their monthly premiums and never need it. Personally, I do not get insurance on my cell phone as a matter of choice. I am willing to take the risk.

Thanks. With you. Looking for a real solid argument in favor of the insurance. It's not having a swappable battery that concerns me. Being that if the battery for example goes out, then it's a whole new phone. I hear stories that the insurance carrier ends up sending to the consumer a used or inferior product.
