But as a business you would be ready for the eventual client that claims you lost all their files and sues you for a few million. Or the one that claims you fried the machine.
So yes, you need insurance and more. Sometimes it means folk won't get into this business.

Hi there,
Me and my friend are thinking of starting a small part time business along as our current full time jobs.
Fixing / customing Apple products / laptops / desktops etc. the usual.
We posted on facebook just saying we are doing this and a few people messaged us about insurance, What type of insurance would this be and would i need to be qualified?
All the work we do is part of our full time job (I am a hardware / Software technician apprentice at HP and 17 years old)
I am mainly working towards MTA's and IT Diploma level 3 Certificates and in my spare time im looking to gain some certificates in component diagnoses to make my credibility in the market better, What type of certificates would they be and is it possible to take classes on the weekend ?
Thanks a lot.
