Thank you for your suggestions. The QVC forum is most helpful. I'm sorry to bother you, however, after downloading the SCO Tutor for IPad on my laptop computer using the iTunes store I am unable to open/access the program. The Icon appears under the apps in the ITunes store. Please suggest how I can open the program on the laptop. Thank you

If I open volvogirl's link I read: "This app is designed for both iPhone and iPad".
So it seems it isn't designed for MacOS or Windows.

Sorry I should have mentioned you need to download it and watch it on your iPad. Go to the App Store on your iPad and search for it. I think it is only free for a limited time. It's very very good.

Thank you mightily for this tip. The wife and I watched this and it was terrific. Do you have any more recommendations for iPad Tutors that are free. Sincerely.

You do not need to totally absorb the manual,
May 24, 2012 9:14AM PDT

just use it for those times when you find you cannot do something or would like to do something.

The iPad is extremely easy to configure and use and without you telling us what it is you need to know, we have no idea how to help you.

For instance, what do you consider to be iPad basics?

I have seen several magazines that offer helpful tips for iPhone/iPad/iPod for under $10. Just go to a local bookstore/news stand.

Thank you for your prompt response. In particular, I need to know the procedure to transfer music/songs on my computer from iTunes to the the iPad music app. In iTunes I have set up the iPad music folder with the music/songs entered. In iTunes I have the iPad folder under the Devices in iTunes. Can you please guide me from here.
Thank you

Chapter 18, (page 85)
May 24, 2012 10:42PM PDT

Chapter 18 (page 85) of the iPad 3 manual.

Adding music and audio

To get music and other audio content onto iPad:

Purchase and download content from the iTunes Store on iPad. In Music, tap Store when
browsing. See Chapter 19, "iTunes Store," on page 90.

Use Automatic Download to automatically download new music purchased on your other iOS
devices and computers. See "Using iCloud" on page 19.

Sync with iTunes on your computer. You can sync all of your media, or selected songs and other
items. See "Syncing with iTunes" on page 20.

Use iTunes Match to store your music library in iCloud and access it on all your iOS devices and
computers. See "iTunes Match" on page 87

Took me 30 seconds to find it.

Transfer Photos From iPad 3 To Picasa

Did that manual chapter work for you?

You don't say whether it was any help. It took me a while to find it.

Picasa is software. It does not hold photo files.

Why don't you just connect your phone to the computer and copy the photos across to your Pictures folder?

into your Pictures folder (as suggested)
Then import the pictures into the Picasa software in exactly the same way as you have been putting pictures into that software before you had the iPad
