Go to Start/Run and type in:
regsvr32 /i shell32
Note: The spacing is important.

I am using a acer 3002LCi laptop, specs are AMD Sempron 2800+ 1.60 GHz, 512MB RAM. Whenever i try opening a folder, instead of the folder contents, a search for that particular folder opens..... Pls help me asap, as I need to use the computer almost daily, and this problem is proving to be quite a nuisance.....
