Question

installing Windows 10

Jul 21, 2017 11:38AM PDT

I have had my computers wiped, and am now wanting to install Windows 10. Ive installed Windows 10 on the laptop, thats OK, but having problems installing on the tower. I put the disc in the tray and run it. The problem is,,it isnt coming up on the monitor. I just get the message,, that its not receiving the video signal. Ive checked the leads,, both the HDMI and the RCA leads all connected. Have checked the leads in the computer, everything seems as it should, so I cant understand why Im not getting a signal on the monitor, and have checked the monitor's settings etc.
Ive used both connections on the computer,, with the lead from the onboard connection, and also from the graphics card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Clarification Request
Very few PCs today use RCA for video signals.

As it stands I have to write that a PC that has RCA video signals is far too old.

Let's hear more about this PC. Also, the BIOS must show or it's just a PC in need of repair.

Did this desktop work before the wipe?

If so tell about the wipe.

If your not seeing anything on the monitor that's a bios problem.

Remove the disc from the drive and power down then power up, anything show on the monitor?
