Actually you should set your cmos to boot from cdrom, then windows will pick it up from there and you can follow the instructions. If you press F8 now, you will only get into the options of restore, safemode, etc... To get into cmos tap the del key or F1 unless specified by the boot screen, which it will say press such and such a key to run setup. You tap this key before the pc boots into the OS. You will then see your cmos screen. Some say boot options, some say boot config, boot device settings, it varies but mainly you need to find the one that will have the boot devices listed. Usually IDE0, then under that, CDROM or IDE1, then floppy or CDROM. (Note that you will have to use the tab key and enter key to navigate)no mice allowed here. You need to change the first boot device to cdrom, and hopefully unlike my pc, you don't have to change all 3 or 4 to cdrom, otherwise it still boots from other source. Not saying it's likely but it happens. Still it won't hurt anything if you had to. Typically you press the page up\page down keys to change the device. After you are set to go, typically you hit ESC key and then F10 to save and exit. Reboot with the cd in the CDROM drive that you labled as first boot device and Windows should take you into your repair or remove and install windows options. I hope i was clear on this it's late where i'm at so forgive me. If you have any questions jut reply and i'll get back to you in the morning. Paul
