I am currently installing ubuntu 10.04 on a pc, i have got to the partition part and i wondered wether if you give windows less does it delete files ?

If you chose shrink if will use free space.
If you chose overwrite it will overwrite be careful.
Cheers mate I ended up using wubi and I am now running the awesome of Linux next to windows vista
