They will lead you in the way you should go without the use of Ghost, although Ghost will also do what you want. WD has a program on the link that will copy your boot drive info over to the new drive and allow you to make it the new boot drive all ready to go. Read the info they provide and make sure you understand it before proceeding.
I'm looking at installing a secondary hard drive as my master has run out of space. I have a WD 320gb HD that I want to install but I want to make it the master, the problem is I'm not sure how i go about transferring all the data, OS etc to the new drive. I have a copy of Norton Ghost but I'm not too sure what to do.
My guess is that I install the drive as a slave then use Norton Ghost to backup/transfer data to the new drive and then change the position of the drives (and corresponding pins) and then it should be good to go?
