Installing RAM

by JOEZ18 / February 1, 2009 10:09 AM PST

Hey There.

I have an eMachines T3406 (Crucial Page). And I brought this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1134697746464

Now, I installed it correctly, I put it in the notches, facing the correct way. But its doesn't go all the way down so the connector clip can hold it down. It doesn't go in the notch for the connector clip.

I discharged myself before, I started this process.

What can be my problem.

Its sits, its fit perfectly. But, its doesn't go all the way down that the connector clip fits into it. Would that cause a problem of reading the module?
