INSTALLING PROBLEMS

Apr 11, 2005 10:47PM PDT

I bought a music program before xmas called Dance Ejay 4. I installed on my PC (XP), it worked fine, but a couple of months down the line when I loaded it up it said 'd_ejay4.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close'. I have no idea why this happens and I have tried all the following:

Reporting the error.
Re-installation.
Wiping the disc.
Cleaning registry and getting rid of spyware.
Deframenting and disc clean ups.
Rebooting after re-installation.
Latest updates for my PC.
Deleting temp files.
System Restore.
Going on the Ejay website but there is no help for this particular problem.

Can anyone please help as I really need the program to do an assignment. Please?

Try it on another machine?

Given the list, only a full wipe of the PC may fix it.

Did you look in the EVENT VIEWER for more clues?

Hi Bob

So where do I find the event viewer and what do I do once I've found it?

Thanks.

Many don't look there or google.com

I don't teach that stuff.
