With all due respect, this is not going to happen. An ubergeek might pull this off but said person would not be asking.
Here's why. Not only must you find all the files needed but the registry entries. Microsoft made such a copy not easy and impossible (with the exception of the ubergeek).
I see two choices here:
1. Install Open Office (www.openoffice.org) after the reinstall.
2. Fix the issue so you don't wipe the OS out.
I'm in thailand right now, and i want to format my hard drive on my laptop, but i dont have the installation cd's for microsoft office (left them at home). I have it on my computer right now so i was wondering if anyone knew how i could burn it to a cd so i could reinstall it after i format my computer.
