Installing Internet Explorer 8

I have an HP s3720 with Vista 64 bit home premium, I mistakenly removed the IE that came with the computer and when I try to install IE8 I receive the message: This installation does not support your system architecture (32/64bits. I am using Mozilla Firefox. What gives?

You may want to try installing Internet Explorer 8 Language Packs for Windows Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=507d4589-ca97-4c5a-9c0f-bb9a3c68cc49
