The result was that it worked with any combination. But there are folk that can't live without it being "correct."
Hi, I have a mini PCI-express (or whatever the connection is called) wireless card which I'm sticking in my laptop. I have removed the old (broken) wireless card.
There are 3 antenna cables (white, grey, black) which I disconnected from the old card. Unfortunately I don't remember which is which, or indeed if it matters what order they are connected in. There are 3 antenna connections on the new card labelled 0, 1 and 2.
Does it matter how they are connected?
Also, just out of interest, if the laptop had only two antenna cables would you connect to the lower numbered sockets on the card first?
