Installing fonts

I have a couple of fonts that we bought to use as headline fonts in our paper.
I have installed these fonts using the control panel of windows 7. I can see the fonts and use them. However when I use these fonts with Adobe Indesign CS4, our paragraph styles for the paper they appear pink as if the fonts are missing.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and nothing will work. The pages are checked out of the cloud using Newsengin (GPS) plugins installed in Indesign.
HELP I hate fonts.

http://forums.adobe.com/message/4575763 is one that repeats that no fix is going to be made.

Use prior Adobe font discussions or call in to have Adobe help you edit what is needed.
