Question

Installer getting stuck

Jul 13, 2012 9:10PM PDT

Recently I'd been having problems with my Tablet, and I've been trying to re-install the tablet driver.
I took out the installer CD with the driver on it that I used when I first got my tablet, and everything was going smoothly until it hit about 97% and then just flat out stopped. No error messages or anything like that, just...nothing.

I'd already tried installing different drivers, all of which I made sure were compatible with my Macbook (10.4), but each got stuck at about the same point.

I'm thinking this is a problem with the installer and not the driver, however, because when I first got my tablet, I was able to install everything just fine. Same driver/installer disc, so why shouldn't it work the second time around?

This is what the installer log reads.
Anyone think they can help me with this?

What version of OS X were you using when you first installed the tablet and what version are you using now?

You didn't give any details on the tablet so that's about the extent of the troubleshooting

version 10.4
Jul 14, 2012 6:43AM PDT

I was using 10.4 at the time, and I'm still using 10.4.

As far as the tablet goes, it's a Wacom Bamboo pen, and since the LED light was flickering (wasn't connecting to the computer/doesn't respond to anything) I decided to re-install the driver. The driver is version 5.2 for macs, which should be compatible.

But thank you for your reply, I'll make sure to contact Wacom tech support.
