Is that since streaming only needs 25 megabit (Netlix UHD 4K) that TV makers do not bother to match network performance with your PC. It's not called for even when streaming. So they will never give you 100 megabit or higher results.
I'm sure you know why but will leave you here since what you wrote looks like the best the TV can do.
We've have had good luck with this TV about a year now. we have very high speed internet connected is 300mbps and WIFI is around 180+ on my laptop. My router is about 30 feet away from my TV and Laptop I was getting about 17mbps on the LG and was always tough to stream movies so I go up in the attic and ran a Cat 6 cable to it. So this should help right ? well guess what it didn't! so on to testing the cable with my laptop, tested great my laptop 325 mbps down and 12 up, plugged it back in to the LG reset the IP settings to 22.214.171.124 and and got peak of 72 mbps with the upload error. plugged my laptop back in and got 300 mbps plus and upload about 12 mbps with speedtest.net and Fast.com Called LG tech support and talked for 20 minutes the support person said I will give you to a second tier support, Second level tech says it sounds like you have done everything to prove the cable is good but you seem to want better internet to the TV........ME - yes that is what I want! that is why I spent all day in the attic, fishing cable and testing it so I could use the tv as advertised. Me - what are the exact specs on the video and network cards, Second level support.....sir I wouldn't know that I will have to schedule a service company out to look at it. ME - I just want to know what the tv is capable of so I know what to expect. Second level support - here is the name of the tech shop in your area I will send them a CNN number, ok can I call them to check? Sure just wait a while, ME ok, I call the tv tech and say I have a CNN number from LG to talk to a Tech, TV repair shop - I'm sorry sir LG doesn't use any numbers that start CNN. sorry unless you call them back we can't help!
