You never really "quoted" it and it's buried in your post.
So I have this fancy new Canon digital camera and I can't install the packaged software- which wouldnt be a problem if I hadn't shot in RAW format on my recent trip. Anyway, when I attempt to install the software, the process stops and I am told that a source file can't be found on the installation CD. I know the CD is good because I installed it on a friend's laptop. When I exit the install, I am given error 1603 and refered to Windows Installer Help MSI.CHM. I've done some googling on the subject and haven't come up with anything too helpful. I ran my registry cleaner and my diagnostic program and also came up with nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
