Aug 9, 2012 5:10AM PDT

I bought a hp Dc5100 of amazon with no os system and hard drive wiped clean.

There's a sticker on the tower for windows xp pro with the product key.

What i would like to know is whats the cheapest and easiest way to re-install the windows xp pro.

Answer
The restore media from HP of course.

Those run about 35 bucks and use that key. Hope HP has them.

There are many discussions about using other XP CD's but I'll not repeat all they write here. The CD KEY is a special one and rarely works on XP CDs you have laying around.
