Install Suse 9.3

May 26, 2005 6:10AM PDT

I have found a 5 cd set for Suse 9.3. Downloading is out of the question as I am on dial=up and everyone in this area has the same hook-up.
The only problem is they are asking if I want the source code dvd. That is the only way the source code is offered.
I only have a cd/rw drive. Is the source code necessary for installing Suse 9.3.

I currently have Suse 9.1 and plan to do a fresh install.
Will I lose any programs or capabilities of installing other apps without the source code.
Search of google does not tell anything.

Thanks for the help
Ray

If you don't tinker with the OS, then no loss.

Thanks for the reply Bob

I shall order the 5 cd set w/o the source cd and install by booting from cd.

Do I need to do anything to Suse 9.1 prior to install of 9.3

Thanks for the help once again
