If so, delete all the NORMAL.DOT files and try again.
If you don't find NORMAL.DOT, then you just didn't find it.

I tried to install Office 97 on a Win 98 PC. It installed OK, but when I try to run the applications, I get an error message that there isn't enough memory or not enough room on the hard drive. The PC has 256MB ram (tested and OK) and 8.8GB of free space on the hard drive.
I had to uninstall Office 97 and reinstall it to run from the hard drive. It runs fine with this configuration.
Any suggestions?
