can you install windows xp on a mac operating system

thank you for your help. i am actually looking up some info for a friend who has just bought a mac computer & she wants to install xp onto it

There is also a program available for the Mac from MS called Virtual PC For Mac v7.0 This will allow you to run any windows program on a Mac. They won't run as fast as they would on the Windows machine, but they do run well. You can get it with various versions of Windows built in or with no Windows built in if you already have a Windows disk. The program is made by MS.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
