Question

Inspiron 9300 LCD Screen

Jan 8, 2013 10:03AM PST

I have an Inspiron 9300 that the LCD screen is going out on. My LCD part number is K9975. Is there a cross reference for other screens to work on this laptop? Also, if I buy a display and the inverter doesn't come on it, will there be a way to attach the inverter to the bottom of the display?

Answer
Not really.

But by coincidence a friend had a dell that needed a LCD and on ebay he found a seller of many LCDs and they were able to get him a non-exact LCD and lid. I don't suggest doing that but it appears you don't want a k9975?

Inspiron 9300 LCD Screen

It's not that I don't want a K9975, I can't find one that has an inverter on it, and I don't know if mine will attach to
the new screen. Also, I might be able to find a cross reference screen at a more reasonable price. It gives me more choices.

Even when I owned a factory auth service shop long ago there was never such a list. It's not possible given your FCC testing and more. That doesn't make sense to some folk but I thought I'd share why.
