. . . I would wait for Intel's 64-bit craze to start. You're comparing apples to oranges currently. The Pentium M is a great processor, with fantastic battery life and speed but it's 32-bit. The AMD has crap battery life but is highly powerful, and 64-bit.
The 6000 has 1.86Ghz and 7200-60GB hard drive. The HP has AMD64 3200+2.00Ghz and 5400-80GB hard drive. May be used for video work.
