The best trick I've heard to date on the is to use vacuum grips to pull the (it's not glass) top layer off a little and the insect often falls. Good luck.
Again, it's widely discussed on many makes so it's not their sets alone that see this problem.
Hi all,
I believed that I had a dead pixel on my TV however after contacting Samsung Tech Support, and having to chase them up on this, I have been told it's an insect. Furthermore I have been told that this is not covered under the warranty. I find this to be somewhat suspect as I do not understand how a product can be released, to which any one of a billion little critters could ruin at any time! I also have already had the screen replaced two times under warranty in the 6 months of owning it.
After looking on the forum I have seen this has happened to others and the warranty has covered it. Is anyone able to help me with where to go next as the insect is literally in the middle of the screen and is driving me crazy. As an avid Samsung supporter I've been very disappointed so far in them so far regarding this.
Regards, Chris.
