I can give you a little input on the Nokia 3589i phone, based on my mom and sister's experience. It has good reception, and I see that the only good thing about the phone. buttons however are too close, especially the arrow buttons to navigate the menu. The phone is known to echo, just like my old Motorola 120c phone. The phone has an external antenna, though it doesn't look like it with the antenna closed, but it has an external antenna. In fat, all phones for Verizon Wireless have external antennas of some type. That is a requirement for phones to be sold though Verizon Wireless. That's why there aren't many Nokia phones sold though Verizon wireless. Other manufacturers refuse to make phones for Verizon Wireless because of that requirement.
