InMotion Add-On Domain Clarification

I talked to two representatives they didn't seem to know for sure the answer to my question so I seek the wisdom of those who have experience with Inmotion.

I ordered the business class power package, and the tidbit that I was asking about was the sites on 1 account part (which I'm assuming is there way of saying add-on domain). Anyways it says Site on 1 Account - included for FREE! and when you look at the Power section it says 6.

So this is where my confusion comes in. To me, this reads that I'm allowed 6 FREE add-on domains. So I try to clarify this with a rep, they tell me it cost $11.95 extra to add-on a domain up to six... Which bums me out, I guess I'm used to the unlimited add-on domains, but the way they presented it on the site is a bit ambiguous.

Can anyone clarify, I want to make sure before I start adding on domains from cPanel I know what to expect from my bill, since I looked at cPanel it says I have 5 more domains available to add-on but doesn't re-iterate that it will cost me an additional $11.95...

about having 6 sites on one account:

"Don't Be Fooled!

Unlike the others who claim to offer 6 sites on 1 account, or even 10 sites on 1 account, we're different because we don't have any hidden setup fees or hard to find additional monthly charges.

Our web hosting packages are plain and simple - host multiple websites on 1 account for one low price."

According to their page here, http://www.inmotionhosting.com/hostingplans.html, it implies that you can have 6 add-on domains on 1 account for free. So that's what I would except and nothing less.

I had a live chat with them based on this topic:

Ryan: The first row indicates how many sites I can have on one account (Sites On 1 Account - Included for FREE!) and the "power" plan includes 6 of them. Is that just like add-on domains? So I can have 6 different sites on one hosting account with you on the "power" plan?

Tom G.: That is correct, you can have up to a total of 6 websites on the Power plan.

Ryan: And those are included free, right? No additional charge.

Tom G.: There is no additional charge to host the sites. You would need to register the domains if you do not own them, however. If you register the additional domains through us, they would have a charge of $11.95 per domain, per year.

The $11.95 they were referring to is to simply buy those additional domains. If you already own those domains, no additional charge applies.

Thanks for the effort.

Thanks so much Sovereign, the stupid thing is I had similar convos with two different reps and they never clarified the $11.95 charge was the fee if they registered the domain name... I've asked if each domain name would cost me $11.95 and they said yes... I said, that the plan says I get 6 free, that's a bit deceiving... They both replied, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding... end of convo...

Thanks so much for saving me the headache... Honestly you just saved inMotion from a possible cancellation, because I thought to myself 10 bucks for domain registration plus an additional $11.95 just to host one more domain was a bit ridiculous, and was looking elsewhere.

Again thanks.
