Inkjet paper in a Color laser

Jul 7, 2006 11:15PM PDT

I am about to ditch my Epson Photo 810 and replace it with a HP 2600N color laser. The thing is, I have a stack of Canon High Resolution Paper (HR-101N).
Is there a difference between inkjet paper and laser paper? HP sell specific laser jet glossy paper, but can I use my glossy inkjet paper?

Thanks

Label?

Read the label. Basically, it should tell you if laser and inkjet usage if for both(vist thier support website).
Otherwise the *BEST* output will be with the intended printer. Thus, you may get less than desired results with non-proper printer but you will get printing out. Usually, hi-grade paper has "achivable" purposes like photos and such, so that why it usually costs more. However, as you go down on paper quality, it has been my experience paper can be used in both but I mentioned you won't get the best results.

Inkjet paper is slightly thicker than laser jet paper. That's pretty much the only difference. You can use inkjet paper in laser jet printers, but not vice versa.
