ink jet printer - advice needed

Sep 24, 2006 4:47AM PDT

I print photos occasionally (~5-10 per week).

The head of my canon i900D will not work any more, so I want to buy a new printer that will:
-print good quality phots, up to 8X10"
-use affordable, 3rd party inks

ebay, etc has the pixma models that use 3rd party ink for auction at 2-3x their original MSRP.

Any adivce?

Thanks,

David

There has been a hugh discussion on the FORUMS section of this web site on this subject. Just type GENERIC INKS in the search vacility. I have contacted firms on Ebay selling printers with non original cartridges and they state that Epsom is still covered by the manufactures warranty. Do look at a bulk feed system for extreme cheapness though. Look At 7dayshop.com for cheap original photo paper.
