And you can't reach Yahoo services. Many accept that the maker is not on the hook for services that are not from the maker.
The same thing is happening in the Smart TV world. Microsoft has notices about ending Skype support on Smart TVs, the channel guide provider lost their court patent battle and that was gone (not a Samsung company) and now this.
In answer to your last question I solved this long ago with a Roku and other boxes.
As everybody knows, InfoLink as it was originally described was the News, Weather and Stock results from USA Today that no longer works. After 4 inquires to Samsung tech-support and giving the usual re-set to factory settings, check wires, check router all of which is 100% correct. They are now referring this to a "widget" and want me to contact Yahoo. Isn't this Samsung's issue that this feature no longer works as advertised? Has anybody been able to solve this issue?
Thanks
