that epson doesn't come with a remote, the infocus does, & trust me, thats nice to have. The infocus definitely wins the contrast rating (which is more important for the "wow" effect). the infocus also has a digital video input, very good, the epson doesn't. one thing is the brightness. I own a sp4805 & I keep my basement dimly lit when I use it, it looks fantastic. sometimes I turn off all the lights altogether.

Thanks for your input
The powerlite Home 10+ comes with a remote control but it is paper thin. I bought a powerlite home 10+ about 4 days ago. I'm not that impressed. You can see the screendoor effect from upclose. I'm thinking of returning the Epson and exchange it for the 4805. Don't get me wrong the powerlite home 10+ is a decent piece of hardware but I do not think that I'm getting the most for my money...
Seems lile that people are totally raving about their SP-4805

at certain lens settings, you SHOULD be able to see the screen door, try twisting your lens adjustment back & forth between an unfocused image & a really sharp one, you'll find a happy medium.

the only reason I thought it didn't come with a remote is that it lists the remote as an optional accessory in its manual. thanks for the correct info : )
