Davis7210,

I don't have any information about that specific model or the specs. I'm awaiting a response from Mr. Samsung.

If you have any other questions, however, I'll be happy to answer those.

The Series 4 450 Plasmas and the Series 4 460 Plasmas are the same across all major technical specs. The only main / noticeable difference between the two models (for example PN42A450 vs PN42A460) is purely cosmetic.

The 450s are much more widely available at national retailers, while the 460s are available typically more at regional retailers (ie: BrandSmart)

If my Sales Rep told me correctly, the difference between the 45 and the 46 model is the glare screen. In Brandsmart it added $200.00 to the Price. I got my 46 model for 898.00 and it was listed for 1098.00. Stated that was going to be Black Friday's price so he went ahead and gave it to me. Not sure if I got the best price for the television though after noticing a couple of sites listing this for as low as 807.00. I am not sure if that price included shipping. Our first Plasma was a 42" PANASONIC. Has been a good TV but have also heard many good things about Samsung. Bigger screen - not quite sure we'll keep it - may wait a few days to see what Black Friday offers along the lines of the 1080 p or 1080 i.

We must have bought from same salesman, also said my 50' would be on sale after thanksgiving. I paid 898.00, hope they knock some more off price tomorrow, I'll gladly drive to kennesaw to get some cash!!!! Not sure about less glare, at certain time's it can be annoying. But at night, man what a great picture this set has!!!! Very pleased with 720p, like reviews say it really depends on what your needs are, for me i can use the $$$$$ i saved for new mountain bike.

Great price

i know this is an old post and sorry for bringing it back just had a question. i bought this same model 50PN460 from brandsmart (the one near buford hwy). it's a great tv and i absolutely love it but i'm confused as to what the specs on it are. from what i was told by the brandsmart rep, the TV is exactly the same as the 450 (he too said the only difference was the screen and the glare resistance, etc). i bought it assuming it would be a 720p set. i know standard HD cable/satellite broadcast in 1080i, but my confusion starts from my PS3. i'm able to play or watch movies on the 1080p resolution. i have another tv which is 1080i at the most, and when i put the PS3 to that one, the tv screen goes black because it won't handle the 1080p (i have to downgrade it to 1080i for the tv to display the ps3). since there are no specs anywhere for the 50PN460, i can't tell if it's a 1080p tv or a 1080i. but it DOES beautifully display 1080p. so it's possible that may be another difference (or maybe i got really lucky and someone at Samsung messed up and blessed my tv, who knows =P). also those Black Friday prices were good, i got this one for $877.76. i felt it was a great price for a 720p 50", but knowing it allows me to play 1080p just makes it all the better.
